The Philosopher's Kitchen: Series Viewing & Discussion

This Netflix documentary follows Seon Buddhist nun and chef, the venerable Jeong Kwan, over the course of a year and across the seasons. Kwan has no formal culinary training and is director of the Chunjinam Hermitage at the Baekyangsa Temple, where she shares her approach to simple food, nature, and her Buddhist practice, all of which are interwoven and inseparable from one another.
