Dance & Theatre Presents: Dracula

About Dracula

Playwright Steven Dietz reanimates one of literature’s most enduring legends, bringing Dracula to the stage with striking energy and gothic allure. Drawing inspiration from Bram Stoker’s classic novel, this adaptation blends lyrical storytelling with vivid theatrical moments, creating a haunting experience that is both intimate and sweeping in scale.

As a mysterious figure from Eastern Europe arrives in London, a strange unease spreads among its residents. Unexplained encounters, shifting shadows, and whispered fears begin to connect, revealing the presence of a powerful and merciless force. A determined circle of allies must unravel the truth before they, too, fall under the Count’s dark influence.

By turns eerie, romantic, and unexpectedly wry, this retelling captures the complexity of Dracula’s legend—the terror he inspires and the tragedy he embodies. Step into a world where danger and desire intertwine, and brace yourself for a night of suspense, intrigue, and unforgettable horror.
