The Opportunity and Obligation to Innovate in Medicine

UD’s Phi Delta Epsilon International Medical Fraternity is hosting the Gelfand Brown Lectureship, featuring Scott E. Parazynski, MD, on Thursday, November 12, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. in Gore Recital Hall.

Parazynski's lecture, "The Opportunity and Obligation to Innovate in Medicine," will draw on his expereinces as a physician, former NASA astronaut, accomplished explorer and healthcare innovator.

The Gelfand Brown Lectureship is a national Phi Delta Epsilon program that gives chapters the opportunity to host distinguished physician leaders like Parazynski who have made exceptional contributions to medicine and beyond.
