Session Description:
Join the AAARCC for a guided tour of the Purdue University Knowledge Lab facility with Sarah Huber, Associate Professor of Library Science and Director of the Knowledge Lab. Explore how our choices of format — from audio to print to textiles — shape our creation process and impact how audiences receive and interpret our knowledge and stories.

Tour Site:
The Knowledge Lab is a campus space dedicated to multimodal scholarship where students and faculty can test ideas, translate coursework and research into diverse forms, and consider how different modes of making generate new ways of thinking and communicating. It often serves as an early-stage site for imagining and iterating on projects before they move into more specialized production spaces elsewhere on campus. With workshops and tools such as a vinyl cutters, sewing machines, a Riso printer, podcast booth, heat presses, cameras, yarn, cardboard, and more, the Lab supports low-stakes experimentation across materials and media.

This Lunch & Learn Session is partially funded by SFAB. All the AAARCC programming is free and open to all Boilermakers.
