In this colloquium, Neil Kelleher, the Walter and Mary Elizabeth Glass Professor of Life Sciences in the Department of Chemistry at Northwestern University, will speak about his analytical chemistry research. The topic of his talk will be “The Case to Scale Proteoform Measurement and Biology to the Entire Human Proteome.”

Kelleher is a leader in top-down proteomics, proteoform biology, and mass spectrometry innovation. His work focuses on defining the molecular forms of proteins that drive biology, disease and therapeutic discovery.

The Chemistry Departmental Colloquium series invites prominent chemists from around the world to speak to the Department of Chemistry and others in the NC State community about current research in chemistry.
