Purple Reign Extravaganza

By inducing our passion towards unity and camaraderie, we hope to cultivate a feeling of safety and belonging in a world full of hate and division. Through this panel-led discussion, we hope to allow a space where others can share their struggles with mental health and push for more advocacy on campus. Through various topics such as racism/discrimination, imposter syndrome, cultural barriers, machismo, gender equity, and reproductive choice/freedom, we hope to dispel the segregational fallacies that plague our society, in hopes of creating a community where individuals are judged based on the way they comport themselves and not by the color of their skin, their gender, or by whatever they choose to identify themselves as. By addressing machismo, promoting gender equity, and supporting reproductive choice and freedom, this program aligns with the goals of the Multicultural Leaders Program and seeks to foster a more inclusive and equitable campus community. --- Event Details: https://dehub.depaul.edu/rsvp?id=402022
