5th Annual Northern Nevada Trauma Symposium

Renown Health is proud to announce the Fifth Annual Trauma Symposium in the Mack Auditorium at Renown Regional Medical Center. Sessions will explore advancements in injury prevention, prehospital whole blood programs, emergency department trauma research, ECMO in trauma care, and the roles of physiatry and physical therapy in the management of disorders of consciousness. Additional presentations will highlight RTEAMS, an innovative military-civilian partnership that strengthens trauma readiness through advanced training opportunities for military personnel nationwide. Attendees will also receive updates on pediatric trauma research and hear Katie Russell, M.D. Surgical Director of the ECMO program Western Pediatric Research Consortium, discuss her telehealth and rural outreach initiatives.
