Teresa Baker (Mandan and Hidatsa) presents a talk addressing her distinctive approach to painting that combines references to her Indigenous culture with abstract forms and nontraditional materials. Baker’s talk is followed by a conversation with Margaret Ewing, the Horace W. Goldsmith Assistant Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art, as well as a question-and-answer session.
