At the heart of every Food Forest is a composting system powered by vibrant Banana Circles. Multiple years of testing on school grounds show that Banana Circles are productive composting and food production systems that are easy to install. They can be installed as part of a Food Forest or as a stand-alone composting system. They are sustainable, prolific, and require minimal maintenance.
Join us for a fun workshop and learn how to create your own food forest with the Education Fund Food Forest for Schools program! Hayley Margolis is a currriculum manager for the program and will be leading hte workshop.
