This is an introductory course in traditional Shotokan Karate (below Orange Belt). Students will learn basic blocking, punching and kicking techniques. Students will also learn a few self defense techniques. Karate etiquette is emphasized and respectful behavior is required upon entering, during and exiting class. Students may opt to test at the end of the quarter if they have met all technical and attendance requirements. Sign up online or at the SRC front counter.
