Nacho Normal Taco Tuesday

Our class plans to host a fun and free student wellness event called Nacho Normal Taco Tuesday: Dorm-Friendly Wellness Nachos; sponsored by the College of Nursing and Health Professions. This event focuses on making healthy eating simple; affordable; and dorm-friendly. It is a great opportunity to learn how to create delicious and nutritious wellness nachos using easy to find ingredients and simple preparation methods that are perfect for student life; especially for those living in the dorms. Participants will also have the chance to enjoy good food; connect with classmates; and discover creative ways to make healthy choices while living on campus.

My peers and I will also be present to answer questions about nutrition within our scope of practice and provide helpful information and resources to support healthy eating choices.
