Monty, a charming but poor young man finds out he is ninth in line for an earldom and a family fortune when his mother passes away. His chance of outliving those ahead of him in succession are slim, so he decides to take matters into his own hands. Of course, murder isn’t the only thing on his mind, he must also decide which woman should become his bride: the honorable Phoebe or fiery Sibella. Based on the 1907 fictional novel “Israel Rank: The Autobiography of a Criminal” by Roy Horniman, this four-time Tony Award-winning musical is filled with murder, wit, and laughs with book and lyrics by Robert L. Freedman and music and lyrics by Steven Lutvak.
Due to Adult situations and subject matter, this show may not be appropriate for all audiences.
