Duo Piano Recital Fundraiser for Wilmot Cancer Institute

In celebration of his 90th birthday, George Abraham is hosting a duo piano recital on Wednesday, Oct. 14, starting at 7:30 p.m. in Eastman's Kilbourn Hall. Admission to the recital is free but a $20 or more donation to Wilmot is suggested.

The recital will feature works by Beethoven, Mozart, and other renowned composers, and world premieres by American and Chinese composers written for 4, 6, and 8 hands and two pianos will be played.

The four pianists are:

Liu Liu, Professor of Piano at the China ConservatoryCahill Smith, Professor of Piano at Utah State UniversityAlan Chow, Professor and recent Chair of Piano at the Eastman School of MusicGeorge Abraham, MD, Professor Emeritus in the Department of Medicine, Hematology/Oncology, at University of Rochester Medicine The pianists will also perform two additional recitals: one on October 15 at Hobart and William Smith Colleges and another on October 17 at Carnegie Hall.
