Basic Mediation Training

Join the Conflict Resolution Program (CRP) for a four-day, interactive and intensive training program that offers specialized knowledge, skills, and techniques for working with parties in conflict.

Through lecture, practice, reflection, video, and role-play, participants learn:

A six-step, facilitative mediation processThe role and responsibilities of a mediatorHow to facilitate a conversation between disputing partiesKey mediator skills and techniquesParticipants in this training receive a mediator training manual and related resources, an introduction to experienced mediators and volunteer opportunities, and a certificate upon completion.
