Approaches to Reading Don Quixote

This presentation will provide background information that is helpful for anyone interested in reading Miguel de Cervantes's novel, Don Quixote. The session will contextualize the novel within its time period and describe the influential approaches that have been taken to study the work.

Presenter: Cory Duclos is the director of the Keck Center for Language Study at Colgate University. He holds a PhD is early modern Spanish literature and his published research includes studies of Don Quixote's narrative structure, character development, sociopolitical commentary, and enduring cultural influence.
