Against the chaotic backdrop of 1990 New York City, a young Jonathan Larson, long before his success with Rent, struggles to break into the musical theatre industry, while the few people around him constantly pull in every direction. This pop-rock musical breaks the mold to tell a story of self-discovery, isolation, and connection with a soundtrack that never fails to surprise or entertain.
