Gainesville Chapter | Dawg Day of Giving Event

The Gainesville Alumni Chapter invites you to join us as we host Dean Shelley Nuss of the UGA School of Medicine and Dean Carolyn Clevenger of the UGA Victoria Kay Ivester School of Nursing to share updates and insights on the medical science opportunities now available at the University of Georgia.

Dean Nuss welcomed the inaugural class this August and will share their journey so far, as well as efforts underway to positively impact physician shortages across Georgia.

Dean Clevenger will share how her team is recruiting faculty and cultivating top-of-the-line resources to ensure the new nursing program is ready for students in the fall of 2027, thanks to the transformational gift from Hall County residents Doug (BBA ’69) and Kay Ivester.
