All College Seminar

Assignments will be posted outside the Dean’s Office and in Pritzker: Undergraduate tutorials will not meet and seminars will be held from 1:30 – 3:30 p.m. The All College Seminar is an occasion for the entire college community to read and discuss a common text. Each seminar will be composed of tutors, students from all four undergraduate classes and from the Graduate Institute, and other members of the college community. This year we will read Anton Chekhov’s "Gooseberries". This is an important academic event. Attendance is required for undergraduates and absences will be recorded and counted as seminar absences. Attendance for graduate students is encouraged but not required. Staff may participate in classes or attend as observers. Any staff member who wishes to participate should email the Dean’s Office to be included in a class list. The in-person graduate students will automatically be included. After the seminar, there will be an opportunity for continued conversation around light snacks on the Weigle Placita.
