Do you care for friends, family members or loved ones who are navigating mental health challenges, addiction or other difficult life circumstances? This space is for you! Our mission is to create an environment that acknowledges the challenges that can come with supporting others, helps us build resilience and promotes empowerment through support among fellow students who can truly relate. Through low-pressure conversations and restorative self-care practices, we aim to ensure that those who always show up for others also have a place to rest and feel supported themselves.
Note: This is not a replacement for clinical mental health services.
SHARE Communities are weekly student-led groups where peers with similar interests, concerns, or wellness goals can find community and social connection that goes beyond surface-level. They are places to step away from the grind and let down the mask, where mutual support, imperfection, and “real” conversations are the expectation rather than the exception. We aim to give fellow students a place to be themselves and feel at home, where their resources and inner wisdom can directly benefit others going through similar struggles.

Any UT student may submit an interest form and attend ANY open SHARE Community at ANY time of the semester. Submitting an interest form is not a commitment, just an introduction to connect you with our peer facilitators!
