The Family Business Exchange welcomes Mike Dunn, CEO of Dunn Lumber, for an evening conversation on what it takes to earn customer loyalty that outlasts any single generation. Founded in 1907 on a promise to give customers and employees "a square deal," Dunn Lumber has grown into a Puget Sound institution with nine locations and more than 400 employees, and in 2027 marks 120 years as a family-owned business. Mike, the founder's great-grandson, will reflect on how his family has kept that promise alive through economic downturns, industry shifts, and leadership transitions, and what it means to build a business the next generation wants to join. Hear candid insights on stewarding a legacy, adapting to changing customers, and preparing for the future: takeaways every family business leader can apply.

Heavy appetizers with wine, beer, and nonalcoholic refreshments will be served. FBX quarterly seminars are open to FBX members and prospective members.
