Math Talks Seminar Series

Speaker: Irina Pashchenko, Kennesaw State University
Title: "Uncommon Properties of Common Functions"
Abstract: This talk explores several interesting properties of logarithmic functions that may be useful in courses covering logarithms. Following a brief review of power, root, exponential, and logarithmic functions, together with a few related functions, a collection of uncommon logarithmic identities will be derived and discussed.

The Department of Mathematics Math Talks Seminar Series is open to all KSU faculty, students, and invited visitors to present any math or math-related topic. Seminars typically require little or no advanced mathematical knowledge and are open to anyone.
