Designing Another World: Kickoff

Come to the Embassy to help kickstart a large-scale experience design project. Whether it becomes a party, a night market, a scavenger hunt, or an immersive theatre experience, we will create something with the goal of expanding the social imaginaries of the participants.
Our social visions of the future are becoming increasingly dystopian. To move the needle towards more idealistic ends, we must start with expanding our own imagination of what's possible. The goal of this project is to create an experience where people feel inspired to embody a future they can fall in love with.
We'll make some tea, get comfy, and brainstorm the medium and structure of this experience. This session will be the first in a series that will culminate in the experience itself, so bring your boldest and brightest ideas.

What is imagination?...It is a God-like, a noble faculty. It renders earth tolerable, it teaches us to live, in the tone of the eternal.
