PQT Trading Competition

Join Princeton Quantitative Traders on Saturday, November 7 for a full day of trading, strategy, and competition at Princeton University!

Build an automated trading strategy, test it in simulated markets, and compete against students from other colleges. Between rounds, take on sponsor-led trading games and meet people working in quantitative finance.

All experience levels are welcome. Starter code and market data will be released on October 31 so you can start preparing before the event.

Schedule:

📝 9:30–10:00 AM · Check-inGet settled, meet your group, and get ready to trade.

📈 10:00 AM–1:00 PM · Trading & Sponsor GamesRotate through interactive sponsor activities and preliminary trading rounds.

🍽️ 1:00–1:45 PM · Lunch & NetworkingRefuel and chat with sponsor representatives and fellow competitors.

⚡ 1:45–4:45 PM · Afternoon CompetitionContinue sponsor games, test your strategies, and learn from each round.

🛠️ 4:45–5:00 PM · Final PreparationsFine-tune your strategy before the final.

🏆 5:00–6:00 PM · Trading Final & AwardsPut your strategy to the test in the final live trading round, followed by awards and closing.
