FOCUS Art Projects presents Kento Senga at Virgin Hotels New York City

FOCUS Art Projects presents a sculpture by Japanese multidisciplinary artist and J-pop star Senga Kento, marking its first collaboration with Virgin Hotels New York City on Broadway.

Widely recognized as a member of Kis-My-Ft2, Senga has expanded his creative practice across painting, sculpture, and character-based storytelling. His visual world explores love through the emotions that shape human connection; from joy and anticipation to anxiety and vulnerability. His original character, FiNGA, gives these feelings a distinctive form, bringing together playful expression and emotional depth.

Opening on November 9, with a celebration event on November 10, the presentation continues Senga’s relationship with FOCUS Art Fair, where his work has appeared on several occasions, most recently at Chelsea Industrial in New York in May 2026.

Following projects during Frieze Seoul and Art Basel Paris, this New York presentation marks a further step in the development of FOCUS Art Projects: a program extending FOCUS’s presence beyond the annual fair through exhibitions, collaborations, and cultural gatherings. Connecting Asian contemporary creativity with international audiences, the initiative builds an ongoing dialogue between Asia and the West while deepening FOCUS’s relationships with the cultural communities of each city.
