An exclusive event for SLP NYC Alumni.

People buy from people. Your story is your most underused growth channel. Come learn how SLP alumni turn lived experience into a personal brand that builds trust and drives leads. Leave with specific things to try on LinkedIn, newsletters, and video the very next morning, not generic “post more” advice.

What to expect:

5:30 - 5:50pm: Checkin, Meet & Greet, Group Photo

5:50 - 6:10pm: Pairings, SLP-style framing

6:10 - 6:40pm:

(30-40 mins): Saanya Ali (SLP '23) is a writer, storyteller, and the founder of SaanSerif, a newsletter ghostwriting studio that helps founders consistently publish content that sounds like them to build trust, generate leads, and develop their personal brand. Her work is rooted in the simple idea that people want to hear from people and there is nothing more uniquely powerful than your personal story if you know how to use and share it.

6:40 - 7:10pm: Show & Tell Sessions

Tushyati Maudgalya (SLP'25) brings 19 years of experience across engineering, management consulting, operations, and entrepreneurship. She is the founder of SkillUp, mobile platform that helps small and medium-sized manufacturing businesses close workforce skill gaps. Tushyati will share what she’s been experimenting with as she builds her personal brand—what’s working, what isn’t, and what she’s learning along the way.

Danny Mosse (SLP'25) spent 15 years at Sotheby’s, Christie’s, eBay, and Goldin before turning that experience into a personal brand across YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, panels, and podcasts. Three months ago, she co-founded Collect Talent, which her brand has helped grow to 50,000+ organic visitors and 500+ companies. Today she’s sharing how to experiment, what she’s learned, and how to stop worrying about being “cringe.”

Julia DeNey (SLP'24) of SensationalYou was a fashion design major turned special education para during the pandemic that grew a fashion brand for her students. She has organically grown the social media following for her adaptive fashion brand, Sense-ational You, to 500,000 followers across platforms.
