NOT BORN HERE RUNNING RAVE @ Favorite Fall Festival

A Running Rave through Favoriten. After just launching our Not Born Here Running Club - Vienna Würstelstand’s social run for internationals, newcomers, and internationally-minded locals ­- we’re excited to team up with  FAVORITE FALL Festival's Favorite Frequencies run for something we've never done before: a Running Rave through Vienna. Mobile soundsystems, a crowd of people moving together, and zero "trying to hit a PB" energy. Here's the deal: we run together. There is no race. There is no pace you need to keep up with. If you only want to join for 2 km before peeling off to the Brotfabrik for a coffee, that's a completely valid way to participate. THE ROUTE We'll roll out from Wien Hauptbahnhof, move through Sonnwendviertel, past the Absberggasse and the old Brotfabrik, on to the Böhmischer Prater, and finish via Stadtwanderweg 7 at Volkspark Laaer Berg - ending right at the closing party of the festival, FAVORITE FALL. Expect there a day rave, hula-hoop workshops, a discussion panel, and an open-air cinema with the Cycle Cinema Club - all waiting at the finish line. Soundbikes playing music lead the way. We follow, running, dancing, and generally making Favoriten look like one big moving party. THE DETAILS WHEN: Sunday, 27.09 — 13:00 START: Am Hauptbahnhof 1, 1100 Wien FINISH: Volkspark Laaer Berg (FAVORITE FALL Festival closing party) DISTANCE: ~6 km, join for as much or as little as you like PACE: Social. This is a rave, not a race. COST: donate as much as you wish WHO: one and all are welcome Please, please, please ONLY hit "sign up" when you're actually planning on joining us. It really helps us plan ahead! Note: this is not literally a rave, but a gathering to run with some good feels music and reclaim some public space.
