Join a Claude Community Event, organized by local enthusiasts for everyone who loves building with Claude!
Claude Code Workshop for students at Kennesaw State, organized with HackSU, KSU's student tech club.
You'll work in pairs with Claude Code in the terminal to build a project from a one-page brief. We'll go through it in four checkpoints: setup, spec, build and test. You'll also get a worksheet to take home.
Who it's for: students at any level, from first-timers to people who already code.
Hosts: Tyler Sztuka, Claude Community Ambassador for Atlanta, and Drew Schillinger, enterprise architect. We ran this format at Georgia State's HackHers in September.
Bring: a laptop and charger.
Claude access: approved guests get Claude API credits to use in Claude Code during the workshop. We'll email setup steps on Monday, November 9.
Register by Monday, November 9. Registration needs host approval, and credits go to guests approved by then.
Where: Math Building, Room 237, Kennesaw State University Marietta Campus.
Free to attend.
