OpenTelemetry turn up the heat with Dash0

Hello fellow SREs,

The SRE NL community is getting together again, and this time we're diving into OpenTelemetry!

Join us on Tuesday, November 3rd, at Dash0 in the heart of Amsterdam for an evening of OpenTelemetry, observability, food, drinks, good conversations, and a little friendly competition.

Our friends at Dash0 are hosting us for the evening, and we're excited to welcome Michele Mancioppi, co-founder and Chief Architect at Dash0 and an OpenTelemetry maintainer. Michele has spent well over a decade working in observability, including roles at SAP Cloud Platform, Instana, Canonical and Lumigo. Today, he works at the intersection of OpenTelemetry, open source and making observability easier to use.

Michele will take us into the world of OpenTelemetry for the main technical session of the evening titled "All the ways you can autoinstrument with OpenTelemetry" with AMA and hot sauces

And because an evening about OTel shouldn't end when the slides do, we'll finish with an OpenTelemetry-themed pub quiz. Bring your observability knowledge, find some teammates, grab a drink, and let's see who really knows their spans from their metrics. 😉

Whether you're already running OpenTelemetry in production, just getting started, or simply curious about where observability is heading, you're very welcome to join us.

As always, the evening is about learning from each other, meeting fellow reliability and observability practitioners, and having some fun along the way.
