AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
I can't believe we're actually inviting you all to the LAUNCH NIGHT of our Lit(erature) without Borders programme, celebrating our funding from the Royal Society of Literature !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PINCH ME. HOLY FFFFFFFFFF.
After 7 years of building our wee bookish community, we're getting to celebrate something pretty HUGE, and we want you all there with us 💗
Join us on Wednesday 18th November from 7pm at The Library Bar (our usual spot, middle floor of The Watson) for a very special evening of celebrations, storytelling and general excitement !!!!
What's included in your ticket !!!!!
🥂 Prosecco and a chip poke reception (a Belfast delicacy, AVISSLY)
🎨 A custom Lit to the Tit print by the wonderful Molly Ellan Arts
🎤 An exciting line-up of storytellers and spoken word performances !!!!
OUR LINE-UP 💗
We'll kick things off with a short welcome speech from yours truly, Claire McCullough, creator of Lit(erature) to the Tit, introducing our Lit(erature) without Borders programme and giving you a wee taste of what to expect from us in 2027 !!!!
Followed by performances from:
Susannah Dickey, local novelist and poet
Farheen Rahmani, Belfast-based author, poet, artist and our very own Commit-titty member
Rachel Hedley, Irish writer
Rónán Ó hOsáin, Belfast-based poet and Gaeilgeoir
I hope you're as excited as we are !!!!!!!!!!
EVERYONE IS WELCOME 💗
This is a completely open event, and EVERYONE is welcome at this launch event, all ages all genders !!!!!
Come completely by yourself or bring a few friends along. This is a social event, so come ready to chat, meet new people and hopefully leave with a few new besties !!!!!!
And there is absolutely NO official dress code for our launch night. Wear whatever you feel your best in! I will, however, be using this as an excuse to play dress-up hahahah
A FEW WEE THINGS TO NOTE
📸 There will be professional photography, videography and media presence at the event. Photos and footage may be added to our digital archive and used to promote future Lit(erature) to the Tit events, some pics could end up in a newspaper or in the media if we're lucky. If you'd prefer not to be photographed or filmed, please let us know on arrival!
🎟️ Tickets are extremely limited, so speedy booking is advised!
👈 Respectfully, tickets are non-refundable and proceeds go towards organisational and facilitation costs. Please bear this in mind before purchasing.
I genuinely can't wait to celebrate this with you all. Seven years in the making and it feels like we're only getting started !!!!!!
