Not Another Victim: End Violence Against Women & Girls

What will it take to prevent the next woman or girl from becoming another statistic?
As part of the global 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, this November edition of Sauti Sessions brings together voices from advocacy, civil society, and the arts to confront one of society’s most urgent challenges: violence against women and girls.
Beyond raising awareness, this conversation will focus on prevention. How do we challenge the attitudes, behaviours, and social norms that enable gender-based violence? What practical steps can individuals, communities, and institutions take to protect women and girls before violence occurs?
We will also confront the realities survivors face, exploring institutional accountability, access to justice, and the support systems available to those affected by sexual and gender-based violence. From prevention to protection and justice, the conversation will examine what meaningful action looks like and what each of us can do to create safer communities.
Through candid conversations, thought-provoking perspectives, and powerful artistic expression, we aim to move beyond awareness and towards action.
