We are excited to invite you to the next edition of Bridges in Vienna. Co-Host Partners: Allocator One, Capnamic Ventures, Masawa Ventures

Community Partners: Invest Austria, Ignite Ventures, Austrian Startups

Why BridgesEvery year roughly €330 billion leaves Europe for the US. The Capital grounds, though, are shifting: Germany’s WIN initiative has mobilised €2.6 billion toward a €12 billion target, KfW Capital is raising a second €1 billion fund-of-funds, and Austria’s Rot-Weiß-Rot Dachfonds starts investing in 2026/27. And the LP itself is changing: European family offices now write 18% of first-close commitments in sub €200 M funds, up from 11% two years ago, and more than half of LPs now rank strategy ahead of track record when choosing a GP.Bridges exists to unlock capital and add value for deep tech, where founders make decisions that compound over decades and need capital and more synergies. We hope to build Bridges across Family offices and GPs across borders, bringing invaluable perspectives. Audience: VC Investors, CVC, Family Offices, Corporates, LPs

Bridges: The LP/GP Generational Shift

Should dry powder have a passport? Public money is national by design, while family money is global. Where does a cross-border GP fit?

Does strategy beat track record? What do first-time managers and fourth-generation managers each have to prove in 2026?

Do LPs want to become GPs? Co-invest, stakes, access, what the new partnership looks like from both sides of the table?

How is DACH capital organising to compete globally? What Austrian family offices can learn from Germany’s playbook and vice versa to compete globally?

Drinks and MinglePartners Masawa VCMasawa is a venture capital fund investing in early-stage founders who build technologies that help people thrive. It invests across three areas: Human Potential (health, longevity, women’s health, human performance), Social Connection, and Regenerative Living Systems. Each investment comes with founder wellbeing support and leadership coaching, an approach Masawa calls Nurture Capital.Capnamic VenturesCapnamic is an early-stage venture capital firm backing ambitious founders in the German-speaking region, investing from pre-seed through Series A with reserves for follow-on rounds. Its current Fund III closed at USD 215m, and while sector-agnostic, the firm has a strong track record in B2B software and increasingly in deep tech, with portfolio companies such as Paebbl, Dexory and Black Semiconductor. Capnamic’s tagline is “Backing category leaders from the start”: beyond capital, it supports teams with network, operating experience and guidance on scaling from Germany into global markets.Allocator OneAllocator One is a Vienna-based investment platform that anchors and accelerates first- and second-time fund managers, providing early capital, strategic support and market access. It is one of the most active backers of emerging managers globally, with visibility on roughly 80% of the first-time GP landscape and commitments to more than 30 venture funds across the US, Europe and Asia. Through its sister company Infra One, an AI-native fund operations platform, it removes the regulatory and administrative burden so emerging GPs can focus on investing.
