Why
AI developments is going too fast, and whilst they have benefits, the existential risks of AI (pauseai.be) are not talked about enough, if at all in this event. We suggest to meet in front, bringing a different perspective, distributing pamphlets and holding the same posters as for the latest pauseAI demonstration.

When
The applyAI summit starts at 8h30, we plan to be there a bit in advance. If you cannot be there at 8 exactly that's fine, if you can only come later that's fine as well.
What
We will be at the entrance of the AI event to give a warm welcome to those joining and ask them to consider the existential risk question. Give a flyer, in a good mood, not bothering the people, just "did you think about the fact we might be condemning all of humanity? might be worth a minute of your time."
We will not enter the building itself, and if you're not comfortable giving pamphlets you can hold a poster.
