Join us for a fireside chat with Sinéad O'Sullivan to explore where Ireland is today in economic, political, strategic and policy terms — and where Ireland, and even Irishness itself, goes from here.We will cover....

01 Delivering infrastructure — record budgets, stalled building

02 The FDI bargain — rich on multinationals, at what cost?

03 Entrepreneurship — growing Irish global companies

04 Immigration — a nation of emigrants needs a strategy

05 Neutrality & identity — what do we stand for?

06 Ireland in the AI age — jobs, energy, the tech-HQ modelSinéad is a systems economist and writer based between Boston and London. Her work examines how complex institutions function, and what causes them to fail.

She trained as an aerospace engineer, designing next-generation technology for NASA, the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, the US Air Force, and the US Navy. She then moved into economics and strategy — first leading MIT's research on emerging technology, national security, and democracy, then serving as Head of Strategy to Professor Michael Porter at Harvard Business School's Institute for Strategy and Competitiveness.

Her advisory work spans governments, central banks, financial institutions, and public institutions across the United States, UK and EU.

She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, a Master's in Aerospace Engineering from Georgia Tech, and a First-Class degree from Queen's University Belfast.
