World Usability Day – Design Jam!

Designing for a better world

World Usability Day is a day to celebrate and advocate for making things work better by enhancing effectiveness, efficiency, safety or enjoyment. This year's theme is Nature within reach: Designing more accessible everyday connections to nature.

Urban green spaces offer opportunities for relaxation, physical activity, social connection, and improved well-being. Yet access to these benefits isn't equally distributed. The challenge isn't necessarily that cities lack parks. It's that the existence of green spaces doesn't guarantee that people can access or enjoy them.

Join Calgary UX and MRU’s Information Design program as we explore designing future-ready experiences that are both groundbreaking and responsible. Together, we’ll envision ways to keep people at the center of this tech-forward world!

All abilities and backgrounds are welcome in this design jam– no technical skills, existing knowledge or experience is needed!
