Join DevDay Exchange Community Hack Day: Taipei, hosted by Harry Ng, your local Codex Ambassador! This unofficial, community-led hack day brings developers, students, founders, and builders together to explore ideas from DevDay and build projects with Codex and OpenAI tools. When & where Sunday, October 4, 2026, 12:00–5:00 PM (Asia/Taipei, GMT+8) OOPS創潮玩圈 — 台北市松山區敦化北路100號15樓 Build together. Demo together. Work solo or form a team of 1–4 people. Bring your own idea or choose a prompt below, then spend the time turning it into a working project. Please bring your laptop and charger. Topic ideas Fix an everyday frustration: remove a repetitive task at work, school, or home. Build for Taipei: help people explore transport, food, events, accessibility, or community life. Turn information into action: transform documents, meeting notes, or research into something useful. Make learning personal: create an interactive tutor, practice partner, or learning game. Build for someone else: solve a real problem for a small business, nonprofit, or community. Surprise us: explore a playful or unexpected use of AI. Team demos Every team is encouraged to present a 1-minute live demo. Show the problem you chose, what you built, and how it works. Present together as a team. Voting & winners Teams will be ranked through a digital voting system after the demos. Each checked-in attendee gets one ballot and ranks their top three teams, excluding their own. First choice earns 3 points, second earns 2, and third earns 1. Voting opens after the final demo and closes after 10 minutes. Vote for usefulness, creativity, and a convincing working demo. Ties are resolved by first-choice votes, then by a designated judging panel. Voting access and instructions will be shared at the event. Prizes & attendee credits The top three winning teams can receive one full year of ChatGPT Pro per approved team member, in addition to the API-credit prizes. Awards are subject to organizer approval and program eligibility. Eligible checked-in attendees can receive $100 in Codex credits and $50 in API credits, subject to approval and program eligibility. These attendee credits are separate from the winning-team prizes. Cafe Compute happy hour Keep the conversation going after the hack day! We’re partnering with Cerebras for Cafe Compute Meetup: Taipei at 5 PM, at the same venue, with beers and additional credits. Separate registration is required: https://luma.com/cafecomputetaipei DevDayCommunity
