Faith, Family & Finance: The Conversations That Matter

An evening exploring halal investing, Sharia family law and protecting your family’s legacy.

At Cur8 Capital, we try to create space for the important conversations we often put off.

Questions around investing, divorce, inheritance and estate planning can feel complicated or uncomfortable. However, approaching them early and with the right guidance can make an enormous difference to our families and their futures.

Cur8 Capital is therefore delighted to collaborate with leading sharia experts from Irwin Mitchell for an open and practical evening covering three closely connected areas: building wealth in a halal way, navigating family matters through both a legal and Islamic lens, and planning how that wealth is protected and passed on.

The evening will begin with Ibrahim Khan, Co-Founder of Cur8 Capital and IslamicFinanceGuru, sharing practical insights into halal investing and building long-term wealth.

He will then be joined by:

Sarah Al-Jourani – an award-winning solicitor specialising in international and Sharia family law, including Islamic divorce, financial settlements and child arrangements.

Yousafa Hazara – Partner in Irwin Mitchell’s International Private Client team, specialising in estate planning, international succession and structuring wealth in accordance with Islamic principles.

Together, Sarah and Yousafa will take part in a moderated discussion covering family law, Islamic and civil divorce, wills, inheritance and estate planning. There will also be an open Q&A, giving attendees the opportunity to put their questions directly to the speakers.

Whether you are beginning your investment journey, building wealth for your family or simply want to understand these important issues before they arise, this evening is designed to provide clear, relevant and practical guidance.
