Born and educated in the UK, Grahame brings more than 40 years of experience spanning theatre, film, television, and fine art, with work created for institutions including the Welsh National Opera and London’s National Theatre. Now based in Miami, he brings his dynamic painting practice to homes, restaurants, hotels, community spaces, and private collections around the world—and will create a live painting during the event. Day of Design brings together a curated group of showrooms for an afternoon-to-evening experience celebrating the showrooms, craftsmanship, and creative energy of Coral Gables’ design community. As the first event of its kind in the area, the program connects designers, tastemakers, entrepreneurs, and design-forward audiences with the city’s growing design scene through a full day of programming, all centered on a single idea: a day when design takes over the district.
