Our first gathering brought together a wonderful mix of perspectives, experiences, and questions, and the conversation flowed well beyond our initial plans. Let's keep that spirit going!
For our second meeting, we'll continue getting to know one another and exploring the many ways people understand psychedelic medicine, healing, and personal growth. Rather than following a formal agenda, we'll create space for an open, curious conversation and see where it takes us.
A few questions we might explore along the way:
What does healing look like beyond symptom reduction?
How much do preparation, environment, relationships, and integration shape a psychedelic experience?
What can clinical research and broader holistic approaches learn from one another?
How do we engage with Indigenous and traditional knowledge respectfully, without losing sight of the cultural contexts and communities those traditions belong to?
What questions, challenges, or possibilities do you wish more people were talking about?
These are starting points, not a checklist. Bring a question that's been on your mind, share a perspective, or simply come ready to listen. You don't need to be a clinician, researcher, practitioner, or someone with personal psychedelic experience to join the conversation.
Who should attend?
Anyone interested in the evolving landscape of psychedelic medicine and the many ways we approach healing. Clinicians, researchers, therapists, holistic practitioners, students, and curious community members are all welcome. Different perspectives are part of what makes this conversation worthwhile.
A note on the space we're creating
We want this to be a welcoming place for thoughtful, respectful, and evidence-informed dialogue. We can explore different viewpoints, acknowledge uncertainty, and disagree in good faith while remaining mindful of the ethical and cultural considerations involved.
To keep the group safe and grounded, solicitation, sale, distribution, or sharing of illegal substances is not permitted. We do not provide substances or referrals to underground guides. Our focus is education, community building, and open conversation.
Location: Café Equinox on Nieman Road
Whether you joined us for the first meeting or are discovering the group for the first time, grab a coffee, pull up a chair, and join us. There's no presentation to prepare for and no particular experience required—just curiosity and a willingness to engage.
