Building connections: teambuilding activities you can bring back to your teams

Do you want to build stronger human connection among the members of your team? Are you naturally that “glue” person that brings the team together, but you sometimes struggle with finding what to do to build that team feeling?

In this highly interactive, wickedly fun session, we will take a learn-by-doing approach to team-building. Whoever joins will be the day’s team, and we’ll take you through some fun and lightweight team-building activities together. You’ll leave with the “recipe” for running those activities with your own team(s), be they your colleagues, a sports team, your extended family, your usual pub trivia group, your zombie apocalypse team, etc. Come alone or with a teammate, and feel free to order a beer (since we’re at the delicious Lamplighter Brewing Co space), and be ready to have some FUN!

What to expect: we’re going to do fun, engaging activities, some that are even silly, but all that promote team building. We’ll probably laugh a lot and get to know each other better. And we’ll “discover the secret recipes” for these activities to share the secrets of why they work, what situations they are best in, and how you can easily facilitate them in your teams.

Who this is for: anyone who likes fun and wants some engaging and effective Tools For Fun to bring back to their teams. If you’ve ever been accused of being a camp counselor type, this is probably for you. If you HATE FUN, don’t bother joining us. If you like fun but are a little shy or apprehensive about this kind of fun with strangers, please come anyway, and we’ll promise to make it as comfy for you as possible.

Who are we: trained facilitators who do this kind of fun for a living and want to share this joy with you! We bring combined decades of experience working with teams. We’ve made fun happen with employees at startups and as well as big corporate groups, non-profits, government agencies, students of various ages, and we’ve even tricked people who hate fun into having fun with us.
