Doors at 6:30 PM. Circle begins at 7:00 PM.
Join us for a discussion of the essay "The Dreamer's Handbook" by Stephen Kane. “The Dreamer’s Handbook” argues that instead of only fighting a system driven by ego and fear, people should build alternatives through a shared positive vision, creative and constructive protest, and culture change. Its core message is “be the change,” with worker co-ops as a sample action plan and DAOs as another model for less hierarchical governance. The appendix, which readers are invited to help expand, offers practical steps, which among other topics, we will get into.

About Pop-Up Circles
Pop-Up Circles are one-night conversations built around a short story, essay, or similar short-sized work.
Smaller than our regular Circles and capped at 30 people, these evenings are designed to be intimate, experimental, and easy to jump into. No month-long commitment required.
Read the piece beforehand, then join us for a guided discussion with good people in a beautiful space. If you need help finding the work, reach out to us.
