🌊 Coastal Hike: Timmendorfer Strand to Travemünde

Join Backyard Stories Hamburg for a beautiful autumn hike along the Baltic Coast! 🐚

📍 Meeting point: Hamburg Central Station (Hamburg Hbf). We’ll share the exact platform the day before.

About the hike

We’ll start in Timmendorfer Strand and make our way towards Travemünde, following the beautiful Baltic coastline. Along the way, we’ll pass sandy beaches, enjoy stunning sea views and walk along the Brodtener Steilufer, a scenic coastal cliff.

We’ll take regular little breaks to enjoy the views, have a snack and catch up with each other.

Depending on the weather, we’re planning a longer stop at Café Hermannshöhe for coffee and cake or a cozy picnic outdoors.

What to bring:

Comfortable walking shoes

Enough water and snacks for the day

Coffee or tea in a thermos

Warm layers and a windproof, waterproof jacket

Your Deutschlandticket or another valid train ticket

You don’t need to know anyone to join! Whether you’re coming alone or bringing a friend, everyone is welcome.
