Join us for an afternoon stroll along Kelly Drive! Grab your headphones, lace up your sneakers, pack a snack or grab-and-go lunch, and fill up your water bottle as we tune into an audiobook together in the crisp fall air.

Dogs are welcome! If you bring a furry friend, please be sure to pack water and a snack for them as well.

Sisterhood Between The Pages is a literary community dedicated to women of African descent across the diaspora, united by our commitment to celebrating and amplifying Black Joy.

Location: Lloyd Hall Recreation Center (1 Boathouse Row, Philadelphia, PA 19130)

📋 Event Agenda

1:00 PM – 1:10 PM | Gather & Sync: Meet at the entrance, connect to audio, and warm up.

1:10 PM – 3:00 PM | The Audiobook Stroll. We'll take a few restful stops along the route.

🎒 What to Bring & Know Before You Go

🎧 Headphones: Fully charged smartphone & headphones.

👟 Attire: Comfortable clothing & sneakers.

📖 Book: Feel free to bring your suggested horror audiobook selection downloaded in advance!

💧 Hydration: A water bottle

⚠️ Terrain & Accessibility Note: While the main walking path is relatively flat, terrain can vary. If you have an active injury or require a much slower pace, sitting this specific walking event out is recommended.

This event is FREE to attend, but space is limited to ensure a great group experience!

Need to Cancel? Please update your RSVP on Luma at least 1 hour prior to the start of the event if you can no longer make it.

No-Show Policy: We enforce a Two-Strike Policy for no-shows. Two unexcused no-shows will result in being restricted from attending future free gatherings. Please help us respect everyone’s time and planning!
