Pluto Markets is challenging a financial sector that has barely moved in 30 years, giving consumers more freedom through technology, better prices and transparency.

Getting there wasn't easy. After founding the company in 2021, Joakim Bruchmann and Oscar Vingtoft spent 3.5 years on heavy regulatory processes, rejections and fundraising, living on instant noodles in a suburban basement and nearly giving up more than once. When they finally launched, the first users weren't impressed.

Today, Pluto Markets has raised DKK 65M from some of the world's most successful entrepreneurs, serves 20,000+ Danes, manages close to DKK 1B, and recently won Forbrugerrådet Tænk's "Best in Test" award. Next goal: becoming the Nordics' leading investment platform within five years.
