Join us at Science Creates for a training session on IP for Deep Tech startups: Protecting Innovation and Attracting Investment with Jennifer Unsworth & Thomas Lonsdale from HGF.
A free event delivered by patent and trademark experts, open to Science Creates' members and external registrations.
Ideal for: founders, CTOs, scientists, engineers and innovators developing novel technologies.
Your intellectual property (IP) may be one of your company's most valuable assets, but only if it is protected and used strategically.
In this interactive 90-minute workshop, HGF will explain how patents fit into the growth journey of a Deep Tech business, from early-stage innovation through to fundraising, commercialisation and exit. Using practical examples and case studies, they'll explore what makes an invention patentable, when founders should think about filing patents, and how a strong IP position can enhance company value and investor confidence.
Attendees will leave with a clearer understanding of how to avoid common IP pitfalls, build an investment-ready IP strategy, and use patents to create competitive advantage.
Continue networking with the Deep Tech community of the South West at our November Deep Tech Mixer downstairs at Bar 1023 from 4.30pm.
