Great startups rarely start with a perfect idea. They start with the right people in the room. So let’s put 20 of them in one.

Join us for an early breakfast at Tupu’anga Coffee in Mt Eden, where you’ll meet up to 20 founders in a morning, five minutes at a time. Come with an idea, or come ready to join someone else’s. The only thing we ask is that you’re genuinely willing to build.

We’re keeping the room small and the mix broad: technical and non-technical, first-timers and seasoned founders, people who are new to the ecosystem and people who’ve been around a while. You don’t need to fit a programme or have a pitch deck. You just need to be curious about who you could build with.

How to joinRegistrations are by approval, so hit Request to join and tell us a little about yourself. We review every request to keep the room balanced, with a good mix of skills, backgrounds and ideas. We’ll confirm your spot within a few days.

Five minutes won’t tell you everything, but it can tell you who you want to talk to again. That’s where it starts.Cancellation:Cancel by Monday 9 November for a full refund. After that we can't offer refunds, since we've already ordered breakfast and held your spot. You're welcome to transfer your ticket to another founder instead: just let us know who's coming in your place. If we need to cancel the event, you'll get a full refund.
