Friendsgiving: A Thanksgiving for the Ones Who Came Here to Build

Silicon Valley was built by people who left home.

They crossed oceans and borders — not for comfort, but for a shot. To found a startup. To join one. To take the job at the big company and change it from the inside. To make the world a better place and build something that outlasts them.

This Thanksgiving, Baird Augustine is setting a table for them — and for the people who back them.

We're bringing together the immigrant founders, operators, and builders who power this Valley, alongside the family offices, institutional investors, VCs, LPs, hedge fund and private equity managers, M&A and corp dev leaders, and commercial real estate investors who fund the future they're building.

One table. Dozens of cultures. Zero strangers by dessert.

The tradition: every guest brings a dish that tastes like home — your family's recipe, your heritage on a plate, the meal that holds a memory. We'll coordinate the table in advance so the spread is as diverse as the room.

Come as you are. Bring a piece of home. Leave with a community.
