FaithTech Seattle: Discern Night

We seek God's wisdom before choosing a response.

Join FaithTech Seattle as we slow down and challenge our assumptions, inviting God into the decisions we make about how to respond to the problems around us.

What Is Discern Night?

When we understand the problem, our instinct is often to jump straight into solutions. We brainstorm, innovate, and start building. But what if we're moving too quickly? What if the most faithful response isn't to create something new, but to pause and seek God's wisdom.

Drawing from the FaithTech Playbook 2.0, we'll consider how prayer, scripture, wise counsel, and the voices of those most affected can shape our understanding of what is truly needed.

We don't just ask, "What can we build?" We first ask, "What response is wisest?"

What to Expect

Whether you're a technologist, entrepreneur, designer, community leader, or simply someone who wants to make a meaningful difference, this is an opportunity to rethink what it means to respond.

Together, we'll:

Connect with developers, designers, entrepreneurs, ministry leaders, and creative thinkers who share a passion for faith and technology.

Explore how FaithTech's redemptive approach can shape the way we design and build.

Reflect and Renew our minds so we can recognize the patterns of the world shaping our response.

You don't need to be a software developer or have a project already underway. Bring your curiosity, your creativity, and a willingness to contribute!

Let's Build Something That Matters

The FaithTech Playbook reminds us that we are created by the Creator to create. Our calling isn't simply to produce better technology, but to become faithful builders whose work reflects the love and mission of Jesus.

Whether you're a longtime FaithTech participant or joining us for the first time, we'd love to have you at the table.

Join FaithTech Seattle as we learn to discern not just what we can build, but what God is calling us to do.
