There are more than 170 trillion plastic particles floating in the world's oceans, roughly 19,000 times the 9 billion pieces of candy corn produced each year! Halloween is also one of the most wasteful holidays. 35 million costumes are thrown away annually in the U.S. The best way to tackle the Halloween costume problem? Reuse, swap, and DIY your outfits!
