What if an art exhibition could be more than just looking at art?

DON’T LEAVE ME ALONE is an invitation to connect. To meet strangers, become friends, share stories, make memories and celebrate the beauty of being alive together.

At the heart of the exhibition lies something deeply personal: Alexander C. Pape has always loved sharing moments with others, being part of a community and bringing people together. For him, connection is not an abstract idea but something lived — found in conversations, shared experiences, spontaneous encounters and the simple joy of being surrounded by people. The exhibition grows from this desire to connect, to create community and to celebrate friendship, love, intimacy, belonging and the beauty of experiencing life together.

Through expressive paintings, intuitive forms and vivid colours, Pape gives shape to emotions that often escape words. Colour becomes a language of its own, expressing joy, vulnerability, longing and the complexity of our inner worlds.

Alongside these works, playful and unconventional figurative drawings introduce a cast of curious characters — imperfect, expressive and unapologetically individual. Together, they celebrate the many different ways of being human.

For six days, the FRIDA-BOBBY-GALERIE becomes more than an exhibition space. It becomes a temporary home. A place where art meets everyday life, where conversations unfold, music plays, glasses are raised and strangers become part of a shared experience.

The artist will be present throughout the exhibition, inviting visitors not only to discover his work but to become part of the experience itself.

Come for the art. Stay for the people.

And perhaps, for a little while, we’ll all feel a little less alone.
