Reading Club Vancouver

📚 A reading club with no assigned reading, no pressure, and no screens! Last time we were at Kits Beach, but this time we'll be indoors since the weather is getting chilly! BRING YOUR OWN BOOK (BYOB)! What to bring: 📖 A book, poetry, a Kindle, a comic, or anything else (audiobooks are allowed!) ✨ Good vibes Schedule: 6:00 – 6:15pm | Settle in & find us at the venue 6:15 – 7:00pm | 45 min silent reading (hard start at 6:15 — if you arrive late, join us but find a spot to read quietly until the break) 7:00 – 7:45pm | Tell us your fav quote, why you love this author, how you like the story so far, why you love/hate this book, or anything else you want to share! Like english class with no grades, no pressure and a book you actually want to read! :D 7:45 – 8:30pm | Wind down, approach someone who had an interesting book, chat about your book, or keep reading (until the venue kicks us out) What to expect: 🧘 Peaceful me-time to finally read your book (some people start their books for the first time at our club — no judgement!) 🤝 Connect and fan girl with fellow book lovers 📵 Genuine offline time away from a screen to rest and recharge! 💌 If cost is a barrier, just email us at [email protected] and we're happy to provide a free ticket — no questions asked! 🍹 A small ask: please support the venue by grabbing a drink while you're there!
